  • 10.5 oz can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Trim and wash the green beans.

Cooking

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the trimmed green beans with cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer the green bean mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top of the green bean mixture.
  • Bake for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld together and the tater tots to start getting crispy.
  • Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the tater tots.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes to melt the cheese and create a bubbly crust.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
