Preparation

  • Gather and measure all your ingredients. Chop the onion, mince the garlic, and slice the mushrooms.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes until they become tender.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  • Slowly add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer.
  • Once the sauce has thickened, remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
  • While the sauce simmers, cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
  • Serve the creamy beef mixture over the cooked egg noodles.
