  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • Spiderweb icing for decoration
  • Candy eyeballs for decoration
  • Pumpkin-shaped sprinkles for decoration

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Gather all your ingredients for a streamlined process.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, melt the unsalted butter and granulated sugar over low heat until combined.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for a minute before adding eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold until just combined.

Baking

  • Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely in the pan.

Decorating

  • Once cooled, decorate the brownies with spiderweb icing, candy eyeballs, and pumpkin-shaped sprinkles.

Notes

Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for about a week. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
