Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together.

Baking
