Preparation

  • Gather and measure all ingredients for easy incorporation.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
  • In another bowl, combine maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until blended.
  • Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until a thick batter forms.
  • Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish with coconut oil or non-stick spray.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
  • Let dessert cool slightly before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container up to 2 days at room temperature or 1 week in the fridge. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
