  • Gather all ingredients and allow the butter to soften if it hasn't already.
  • Pre-measure the flour, baking powder, and salt to streamline the cooking process.

Making the Dough

  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until thoroughly combined, about 1-2 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mix to the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.

Shaping and Baking
