shredded cheddar cheese

grated Parmesan cheese

dried Italian seasoning

beef broth

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Brown ground beef until cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Season beef mixture with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Layer thinly sliced potatoes on the bottom.
Spread beef mixture evenly over potatoes.
Top with cheddar and Parmesan cheese.
Pour beef broth around the edges of the dish.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15–20 minutes until golden and potatoes are tender.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
For a twist, try using sweet potatoes, add mushrooms, or swap cheddar for mozzarella. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
