  • ½ cup milk Dairy or non-dairy options like almond, oat, or soy milk work.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon Or substitute with nutmeg or pumpkin spice.

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat, stirring gently to prevent boiling.
  • Once the milk is heated, add the sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Pour the milk mixture over the brewed coffee in your favorite mug.
  • If desired, add whipped cream on top.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top.
  • Serve immediately while hot.
  • Feel free to experiment by adding peppermint extract or cocoa powder for extra flavor.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat gently on the stove to maintain texture. Freezing is not recommended.
