Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • Peel the ripe banana and slice it into thin coins.

Assembly

  • Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • On a clean cutting board, lay the two slices of bread butter-side-down.
  • Layer the cheese first, then add the banana slices, and drizzle honey over the bananas.
  • Cover with the second slice of bread butter-side-up.

Grilling

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
