Cooking

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in honey, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper. Sear each fillet for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish.
  • Pour the honey butter mixture generously over the chicken fillets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, try marinating the chicken in a bit of the sauce for a few hours before cooking. Consider adding fresh herbs or a dash of heat with cayenne pepper.
