Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed shrimp.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with agave syrup or maple syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon lime, juiced About 2 tablespoons of lime juice.
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust according to spice preference.

For the Yogurt Herb Sauce

  • 1 cup plain yogurt Can use dairy-free yogurt for a vegan option.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped Fresh herbs enhance flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Fresh herbs enhance flavor.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Adds depth to the sauce.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather and measure your ingredients. Ensure that the shrimp are peeled and deveined.
  • Squeeze the lime juice into a bowl, and measure out the honey and chili powder. If necessary, chop the fresh dill and parsley finely.

Marination

  • In a medium bowl, mix together honey, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  • Add the shrimp into the bowl with the marinade and toss gently to coat. Allow the shrimp to marinate for 10 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.

Yogurt Herb Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine plain yogurt, chopped dill, parsley, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the sauce.

Serving

  • Once cooked, transfer the shrimp to a serving plate. Serve warm alongside the yogurt herb sauce.
  • Garnish with additional herbs or slices of lime if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the yogurt sauce separate to maintain its texture.
