  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust for sweetness if necessary

  • 2 large eggs Room temperature

For Toppings

  • 1 cup warm fudge sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup whipped cream Use store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks For garnishing
  • Cherries For topping, optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and preheat the oven according to the brownie mix instructions.

Prepare Brownie Layer

  • Prepare the brownie mix as directed on the package. Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan.

Make Cream Cheese Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Assemble and Bake

  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the baked brownie base in the springform pan.
  • Bake according to the brownie mix directions, usually around 30-35 minutes.

Cool and Chill

  • Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
