Hot Italian Sub Sliders

Mini Italian-style sandwiches layered with ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, and tangy peppers, baked on sweet rolls with a garlic-butter topping. A perfect game day snack, party appetizer, or quick family meal!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 pack sweet rolls halved lengthwise, preferably Kings Hawaiian
  • 6 oz ham thinly sliced
  • 5 oz salami thinly sliced
  • 5 oz pepperoni thinly sliced
  • 9 slices provolone cheese
  • cup pepperoncini sliced
  • cup pickled hot cherry peppers sliced
  • ¼ cup salted butter melted
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 cup marinara sauce for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
  • Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the baking sheet, lined up closely together.
  • Layer ham, salami, and pepperoni evenly over the rolls.
  • Add provolone slices on top of the meats.
  • Sprinkle sliced pepperoncini and hot cherry peppers over the cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls back on top.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Italian seasoning, and crushed garlic. Brush mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  • Remove from oven, let cool for 1–2 minutes, slice, and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Substitute meats with turkey or chicken for a lighter version. For a vegetarian option, skip the meats and load with grilled veggies and mozzarella. Use gluten-free or dairy-free alternatives as needed.
