Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls cut into quarters
  • 2 cups apples peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup chopped nuts optional, such as pecans or walnuts
  • ¼ cup flour optional, for thickening

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Peel and slice apples, then mix them with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl until evenly coated.
  • Open the can of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters.
  • Layer the cut cinnamon rolls and apple mixture evenly in the greased baking dish.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving warm. Drizzle with extra caramel if desired.

Notes

For extra decadence, serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Combine different apple varieties for a balance of sweetness and tartness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat before serving.
