Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Drizzle olive oil into a baking dish and spread evenly to prevent sticking.
  • Place chicken breasts in the baking dish and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Scatter sliced bell peppers evenly over the chicken.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and peppers, ensuring even coverage.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Check chicken temperature (165°F / 74°C). Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicier twist, add red pepper flakes or jalapeños before baking. You can substitute chicken breasts with thighs for a juicier texture, or swap marinara for Alfredo or pesto sauce for variation. Serve with garlic bread or a side salad.
