Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Topping

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a large bowl, then stir in sugar until smooth.
  • Whisk in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold into wet ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely.
  • Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour melted chocolate over the cooled brownies, spreading evenly.
  • Top with sliced fresh strawberries and let set before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a pinch of espresso powder to the batter. You can also use dark chocolate chips for a deeper chocolate taste. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
