Wrap

  • 1 large flour tortilla or wrap Use gluten-free wraps as an alternative.

Preparation

  • Start by ensuring your kitchen is tidy and all your ingredients are within reach.
  • Take the cream cheese out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before you begin.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until creamy and smooth for around 2–3 minutes.
  • Fold in the chopped dried cranberries and chopped walnuts or pecans, if using. Be gentle to keep the mixture airy.
  • Lay your tortilla flat, spread the cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface, leaving a half-inch border.

Assembly

  • Carefully roll the tortilla into a tight cylinder.
  • Wrap the roll tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • After refrigerating, remove the roll from the wrap and slice into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch thick.
  • Garnish with fresh cranberries before serving.

Serving

  • Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to serve.

Notes

Store pinwheels in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–5 days. They can also be frozen for up to a month.
