  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For Serving

  • to taste Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro) for garnish
  • as needed Tortilla chips, pita bread, or vegetable sticks

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add sour cream, mixing until well combined.
  • Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Gently fold in the chopped spinach and artichokes.
  • Mix in your choice of shredded cheese.
  • Taste your mixture and adjust salt and pepper as needed.

Baking or Chilling

  • Depending on your recipe, either bake the mixture in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25-30 minutes or chill in the fridge if serving cold.

  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with tortilla chips, pita bread, or veggie sticks.

Notes

These appetizers can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. For a healthier version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
