Ingredients
  

Steak

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder optional

Cheesy Asparagus

  • 1 bunch asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella

Instructions
 

  • Remove ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and allow them to rest at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
  • Season steaks generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  • Heat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook steaks for 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove and rest for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté asparagus for 5–7 minutes until tender.
  • Remove asparagus from heat, sprinkle cheese on top, and cover for 2–3 minutes until melted.
  • Serve ribeye steaks alongside cheesy asparagus and enjoy immediately.
