Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 6 taco shells or soft tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend

Toppings

  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup chopped onions
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • sour cream for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 7 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning according to package instructions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Lay taco shells or tortillas on a baking sheet and fill with seasoned beef.
  • Top with shredded cheese and bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Top with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and lettuce. Serve with sour cream.

Notes

To make it vegetarian, use black beans or lentils instead of ground beef. For a spicy version, add extra jalapeños or hot sauce. Great for parties and easy weeknight meals!
