Ingredients
  

Base Mixture

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 ½ cups milk or almond milk for dairy-free
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Filling

  • 1 large apple diced
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract.
  • Stir in oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • Fold in diced apple and optional nuts.
  • Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with optional toppings like yogurt, maple syrup, or fresh fruit.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven before serving.
