Ingredients
  

Cake Base

  • 2 cans sliced peaches in syrup 15 oz each
  • 1 box yellow cake mix standard size
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Optional Toppings

  • whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Pour the sliced peaches with syrup into a 9×13 inch baking dish to create the base layer.
  • Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the peaches.
  • Melt the butter and drizzle it evenly over the cake mix.
  • Sprinkle ground cinnamon evenly across the top.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract or a handful of chopped pecans to the topping. To make it lighter, use peaches canned in water instead of syrup. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 5 days or frozen for 3 months.
