Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs or use crushed vanilla wafers for variation
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 packages cream cheese softened, 8 oz each
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 cup chopped pecans toasted for extra flavor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until mixture resembles wet sand.
  • Press crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking pan to form the crust.
  • In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake layer and swirl gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the edges are set and the center slightly jiggles.
  • Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
  • Drizzle with additional caramel before serving, if desired.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smooth filling. Do not overmix after adding eggs to prevent cracking. Chill thoroughly for clean, firm slices.
