Equipment

  • Mixing Bowls
  • Hand Mixer
  • Rubber spatula
  • 9-inch Pie Dish
  • Refrigerator

Ingredients

Pie Filling

  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • ½ cup crushed peppermint candies
  • chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients and ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • Place the pre-made graham cracker crust on a flat surface or serving dish.
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy, about 2–3 minutes.
  • Add the powdered sugar gradually and mix until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract and blend until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula.
  • Fold in the crushed peppermint candies, mixing lightly to keep the airy texture.
  • Spread the peppermint cream mixture evenly into the graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until set.
  • Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or additional crushed peppermint candies for a festive finish.

Notes

Store the pie in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 5 days. It can also be frozen for up to 2 months — thaw in the fridge before serving. To ensure smooth texture, always soften the cream cheese completely before mixing.
