Base Ingredients

  • 12 oz frozen spinach thawed and drained well
  • 8 large eggs
  • cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp minced garlic
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • tsp nutmeg optional
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese grated

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C) and prepare a 9-inch pie dish with non-stick spray.
  • Thaw the frozen spinach completely and drain it well using a colander to remove all excess moisture.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
  • Fold in the drained spinach and grated Swiss cheese until evenly combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 40–50 minutes until firm and lightly browned on top.
  • Let the quiche cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, sauté the garlic before adding it to the egg mixture. You can also include mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, or diced ham for variety. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week and reheat at 350°F for 10–15 minutes. Avoid freezing quiche made with heavy cream as it may affect the texture.
