Main Ingredients
- 5 cups Rice Chex cereal divided
- 1 cup mini pretzels gluten-free optional
- 10 oz white melting chocolate or white chocolate chips
- ½ cup powdered sugar white or pink
- 6 oz Valentine’s M&Ms
- sprinkles optional, for decoration
Instructions
- Measure and divide all ingredients before beginning. Set aside 1 cup of Rice Chex for the final mix.
- In a large mixing bowl, add 4 cups of Rice Chex cereal and mini pretzels.
- Melt white melting chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal and pretzels. Stir gently to evenly coat each piece.
- Transfer half of the coated mix into a zip-top bag with powdered sugar. Seal and shake until coated.
- In the bowl, add the remaining 1 cup of Rice Chex, Valentine’s M&Ms, and sprinkles. Mix gently to combine.
- Spread the coated mix evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle the powdered sugar-coated cereal on top.
- Allow the mix to set at room temperature for 20 minutes or until the chocolate hardens. Break into clusters before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, toast the cereal lightly before mixing. You can also add nuts, dried fruits, or flavored candy melts for creative twists. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.
