Ingredients
  

Appetizer

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • fresh basil leaves for garnish

Salad

  • 2 cups mixed greens
  • ½ cup strawberries sliced
  • ¼ cup feta cheese crumbled
  • ¼ cup walnuts toasted
  • 2 tbsp poppy seed dressing

Main Dish

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste

Side Dish

  • 2 cups asparagus trimmed
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Dessert

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • fresh raspberries for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Wash and prep all ingredients. Halve cherry tomatoes, slice strawberries and mushrooms, and measure seasonings.
  • In a skillet, sauté cherry tomatoes with olive oil for 5–7 minutes. Add balsamic vinegar, simmer briefly, and set aside.
  • Mix salad greens, strawberries, feta, and walnuts in a bowl. Drizzle with poppy seed dressing before serving.
  • Season chicken breasts and cook in olive oil for 6–7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté mushrooms, then add cream and Dijon mustard to create the sauce. Return chicken to the pan and simmer.
  • Blanch asparagus for 3–4 minutes, then toss with olive oil and lemon juice.
  • For dessert, heat cream and pour over dark chocolate chips. Stir until smooth, cool slightly, then refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve with raspberries.
  • Plate each dish attractively, garnish with herbs or flowers, and enjoy your romantic meal.
