Ingredients
  

Chocolate Truffles

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz chopped chocolate dark or milk
  • cocoa powder for rolling

Heart-Shaped Cookies

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Caramel Popcorn

  • 1 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 cup sugar for caramel
  • ½ cup butter

Homemade Jam

  • 2 cups fruits of choice strawberries, raspberries, etc.
  • 1 cup sugar

Pairing

  • 1 bottle red wine optional, to complement treats

Instructions
 

  • Gather and measure all ingredients for each treat to ensure a smooth process.
  • For truffles, heat cream until simmering, remove from heat, and stir in chocolate until smooth. Chill for 2 hours.
  • Once firm, roll truffle mixture into small balls and coat in cocoa powder.
  • For cookies, cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, then mix in flour and baking powder until dough forms.
  • Roll out dough, cut with heart-shaped cutters, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes.
  • Pop popcorn and make caramel by melting sugar and butter together until golden. Coat popcorn evenly and let cool.
  • For jam, cook fruit and sugar over medium heat until thickened, then transfer to sterilized jars.
  • Assemble all treats into gift boxes or jars, optionally paired with a bottle of red wine.

Notes

For dairy-free options, use coconut cream and vegan butter. Gluten-free flour can substitute all-purpose flour. Add nuts or drizzled chocolate to popcorn for variation. Store truffles and cookies in the refrigerator for up to one week; popcorn should remain sealed at room temperature.
