Fruit Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced apples Use a crisp variety for best texture
  • 2 cups diced pears
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cup chopped oranges
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts Can substitute with sunflower or pumpkin seeds if allergic to nuts

Dressing Ingredients

  • ¼ cup honey Can be substituted with maple syrup or agave for a vegan version
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash all the fruits thoroughly under cold water.
  • Dice the apples and pears into bite-sized pieces.
  • Chop the oranges into manageable chunks and gather the pomegranate seeds.

Combine Fruits

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, pears, pomegranate seeds, chopped oranges, and walnuts. Gently fold the fruits together.

Make Dressing

  • In a small saucepan, heat the honey over low heat, stirring until it becomes pourable.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in ground cinnamon and vanilla extract until well blended.

Dress the Salad

  • Pour the warm dressing over the fruit mixture and toss gently to coat.
  • Taste the salad and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.

Serve

  • Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for best flavor.
  • Serve in a beautiful bowl, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon or additional walnuts.

Notes

Best served fresh and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Not recommended for freezing.
