Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter smooth or chunky
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup for sweetness
  • ½ cup chopped nuts almonds or walnuts
  • ½ cup chocolate chunks or dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  • Stir in chopped nuts and chocolate chunks, ensuring even distribution throughout the mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press it down evenly using a spatula.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Let the bars cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before lifting out and cutting into squares.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.

Notes

For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey. To make nut-free bars, replace peanut butter with sunflower seed butter. For extra flavor, add cinnamon, coconut, or protein powder to the mixture.
