Ingredients
  

Vegetables

  • 2 medium Persian cucumbers Can substitute with English cucumbers if needed.
  • ½ cup red onion, diced
  • 1 medium jalapeno, diced Adjust for spice preference.

Dressings and Creams

  • 3-4 tbsp cream cheese Preferably with herbs.
  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt Can substitute with sour cream.
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp coarse sea salt
  • ¼ tsp soy sauce Optional, regular or light.

Cheese and Garnish

  • 3-4 tbsp sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds Black & white, for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Ensure your workspace is clean and organized. Gather all the ingredients, a cutting board, and a knife.
  • Wash the Persian cucumbers thoroughly and slice them into 1/4 inch thick slices.
  • Chop the red onion and jalapeno into small pieces; place aside.

Combining

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the sliced cucumbers, diced red onion, and jalapeno.
  • Add cream cheese, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and sea salt to the bowl.
  • Sprinkle in shredded cheddar cheese and add soy sauce if using.
  • Toss well to combine all ingredients, ensuring the creamy dressing evenly coats everything.

Serving

  • Transfer the salad onto a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds.
  • Chill in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
  • Enjoy as a side dish, appetizer, or on its own!

Notes

Store the salad in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. best enjoyed fresh.
