  • 2 cups broccoli florets Cauliflower can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Dairy-free cheese can be used for a dairy-free option.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  • Gather and measure all ingredients. Chop onion, mince garlic, and prepare broccoli florets.

Cooking Base

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Brown Beef

  • Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned evenly, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Broccoli

  • Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.

Add Cheese

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the skillet, stir, and cover to allow the cheese to melt.

Season

  • Remove the lid and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes
