Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather and prepare your ingredients.
  • Cut the smoked sausage into 1-inch pieces and halve the bacon strips.

Wrapping

  • Wrap each sausage piece with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Seasoning

  • In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, and black pepper.

Coating

  • Roll each bacon-wrapped sausage in the brown sugar mixture until well-coated.

Baking

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the coated sausages on it.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.

Finishing

  • Ensure that the center of the sausage reaches 165°F to ensure doneness.
  • Let cool slightly before serving, ideally with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
