Ingredients

For the Steak

  • 1 lb Sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 whole Lemon (zest and juice)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • For garnish: Fresh parsley (chopped)

For the Herb Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh chives (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and mince the garlic. Zest and juice the lemon, and chop the fresh herbs for garnishing and the yogurt sauce.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the cubed steak and season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes on each side until it reaches your desired doneness.
  • Add the minced garlic to the pan. Stir vigorously for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, pour in the lemon juice and zest.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the unsalted butter. Let it melt and gently toss the steak cubes to coat them evenly.

Making the Sauce

  • In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, chopped dill, parsley, chives, and lemon juice. Mix well, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Spoon the steak cubes onto a plate, drizzling the lemon butter sauce over the top.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with the herb yogurt sauce on the side or drizzled over the steak.
