Ingredients
  

For the loaded baked potatoes

  • 4 large large russet potatoes Scrubbed and cleaned.
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye) Seasoned with salt and pepper.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping.
  • ½ cup sour cream For topping.
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions For topping.
  • 4 slices cooked and crumbled bacon For topping.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Preparation

  • Wash and scrub the large russet potatoes thoroughly.
  • Pour a little olive oil on potatoes and sprinkle with salt.

Baking Potatoes

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Pierce each potato with a fork several times and place directly on the oven rack.
  • Bake for 45-60 minutes, until tender.

Cooking Steak

  • While potatoes are baking, season chosen steak with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat.
  • Cook steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side to desired doneness.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Slice the steak thinly against the grain.

Assembly

  • Once potatoes are baked, carefully cut them open and fluff the insides with a fork.
  • Top each potato with sliced steak, followed by shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, and crumbled bacon.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Best served warm. Customize toppings to personal taste - consider additional vegetables or spices for variation.
