Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and preheat your oven as instructed on the tater tots package.

Cooking

  • Spread the frozen tater tots on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake according to package instructions until golden brown and crispy, typically about 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove the tater tots from the oven and immediately sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits over the hot tater tots.
  • Return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
