Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients to streamline the cooking process.
  • If using fresh lobster ravioli, lay them out on a clean kitchen counter. If frozen, check the package for pre-cooking requirements.

Cooking the Ravioli

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the lobster ravioli. Cook according to the package instructions, about 3 to 5 minutes for fresh ravioli and until they float.

Making the Sauce

  • In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat, avoiding browning.
  • Add lemon juice and zest to the skillet and stir thoroughly.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir continuously until fully incorporated.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combining and Serving

  • Drain the cooked ravioli and add it to the skillet with the lemon butter sauce. Toss gently to coat.

Notes

For vegan, substitute lobster ravioli with plant-based ravioli, olive oil instead of butter, and non-dairy cream.
