  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound cooked bacon, chopped
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 package shredded Cheddar cheese (12 oz)

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and tools. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cooking

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef, minced garlic, and onion powder over medium-high heat for about 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  • Stir in the chopped cooked bacon and distribute it evenly.
  • Transfer the beef and bacon mixture to a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until blended.
  • Add 3/4 of the shredded cheese to the egg mixture and stir until combined.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the beef and bacon mixture, ensuring it covers evenly.
  • Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Allow to rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Customize with various toppings like sliced green onions or jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator or freeze for longer storage.
