  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced You can substitute with turkey or rotisserie chicken.
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Use high-quality bacon for better flavor.
  • ½ cup maple syrup Drizzle more on top before baking for extra sweetness.
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise Greek yogurt or avocado can be used as healthier alternatives.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 12 pieces slider buns Substitute with gluten-free buns or lettuce wraps if needed.
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup sliced tomatoes

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Dice the chicken breast into small, bite-sized pieces.
  • Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into smaller bits.
  • In a large bowl, combine the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, maple syrup, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard. Mix well.

Assembly

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  • Spoon the chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each bun. Layer shredded lettuce on top, followed by sliced tomatoes.
  • Top each slider with the other half of the bun and gently press down.

Baking

  • Drizzle extra maple syrup or brush melted butter over the top of the assembled sliders.
  • Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until heated through and the buns are toasted.
  • Let sliders cool for a moment before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Can be reheated in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
