  • Gather and measure your ingredients. Finely chop the medium cabbage and mince the garlic.

Cooking

  • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the finely chopped cabbage, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the cabbage starts to soften but retains some crunch.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant, but do not let it burn.
  • Pour in the vegetable broth and lemon juice, infusing the cabbage with moisture and flavor.
  • Cover the skillet with a lid to trap steam for even cooking.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and transfer the covered skillet to bake.
  • Bake for 30 minutes until the cabbage is fork-tender and caramelized.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
