  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup fried onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed

Preparation

  • Start by gathering and preparing all your ingredients. Trim and cut your green beans into 1-inch pieces, and make sure your puff pastry is fully thawed.

Cooking

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  • Fold in half of the fried onions and half of the shredded cheddar cheese to the mixture.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry until flattened and slice it into small squares.
  • Place a spoonful of the green bean mixture on each square and fold the corners to seal the bites.
  • Arrange the sealed bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese and fried onions.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow cooling for a few minutes before serving.
