Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened Make sure to soften before mixing.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 pcs Jalapenos, finely chopped Adjust quantity to taste.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper

Wrapping and Frying

  • 1 package Egg roll wrappers Available in most grocery stores.
  • 2 cups Oil for frying Use enough to submerge the egg rolls.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients together and soften the cream cheese.

Mix the Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.

Assemble Egg Rolls

  • Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with one corner facing you. Place a spoonful of filling in the center.

Roll the Egg Rolls

  • Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold the sides in, and roll tightly to seal.

Heat the Oil

  • Pour oil into a deep pan and heat over medium-high until appropriate frying temperature is reached.

Fry the Egg Rolls

  • Carefully place egg rolls in the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.

Drain and Serve

  • Remove egg rolls and place on paper towels to drain excess oil before serving hot.
