Ingredients
  

Mozzarella Sticks

  • 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks frozen for 2–4 hours

Wrapping

  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz each

Decoration

  • 16 candy eyes
  • 1 egg white for brushing

Instructions
 

  • Freeze mozzarella sticks for 2–4 hours to firm them up.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough and press seams together to form rectangles.
  • Cut dough into ½-inch strips with a knife or pizza cutter.
  • Wrap dough strips around each frozen mozzarella stick, leaving a gap at the top for the 'face.'
  • Place wrapped sticks on the baking sheet. Brush lightly with egg white.
  • Chill the wrapped sticks in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Immediately press two candy eyes into each mummy while warm. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and reheat in the oven for best results.
