Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the fresh orange juice, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
  • Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Meanwhile, pour the leftover marinade into a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
  • Once the salmon is done, brush the thickened glaze over the fillets and return to the oven for 2-3 minutes.
  • Let the salmon rest for about a minute before serving.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Best when served fresh. Pair it with rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal. Consider adding fresh herbs or a sprinkle of nuts for extra crunch.
