Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellowed or damaged outer leaves, then cut them in half lengthwise.
  • In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread the seasoned sprouts cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

Roasting

  • Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cut sides are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the hot Brussels sprouts.
  • Return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes to melt the cheese.

Finishing Touches

  • Once done, remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top.
  • Serve your delicious Parmesan Brussels Sprouts immediately while they’re hot and crispy.

Notes

For lower-fat options, use cooking spray instead of olive oil. For dairy-free, try nutritional yeast instead of parmesan cheese. Ensure all additional ingredients are gluten-free if necessary.
