  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Gather all your ingredients for easy access.

Mix the Coating

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly blended.

Prepare Chicken

  • Brush the chicken breasts lightly with olive oil on both sides.
  • Coat each chicken breast thoroughly in the Parmesan mixture and press gently to ensure the coating sticks.

Bake the Chicken

  • Arrange the coated chicken breasts on a sheet pan with space in between each piece.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Check the chicken halfway through and rotate the pan if necessary.

Serve

  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
