  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup milk Can substitute with a non-dairy milk for a dairy-free option.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix almond butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add in the eggs and vanilla extract to the almond butter mixture. Mix well until fluffy.
  • In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the almond butter mixture, mixing slowly.
  • Stir in the milk until the batter is smooth.
  • Gently fold in the diced pears.
  • Pour the prepared batter into the greased cake pan, smoothing the surface.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for a week. Can be frozen for up to three months.
