  • ½ teaspoon salt

Topping

  • 7 ounces pepper jelly Melt before pouring over the dip.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes to soften.
  • Shred the cheddar cheese if not already done.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Add garlic powder, onion flakes, and salt.
  • Blend the ingredients using a hand mixer or spatula until smooth.

Baking

  • Transfer the cheese mixture to an oven-safe dish, smoothing the surface evenly.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake the cheese mixture for about 15 minutes until hot, melted, and bubbly.

Final Assembly

  • Melt the pepper jelly in a microwave-safe container, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Once the cheese dip is done baking, pour the melted pepper jelly over the top evenly.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dippers like crackers, chips, or sliced baguette.

Notes

Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
