Meat and Vegetables

  • 1 cup green bell pepper, diced Red or yellow peppers can also be used.

Cooking Essentials

  • 2 tbsp butter Melted for sautéing.

Preparation

  • Gather and prepare all your ingredients. Dice the onions and bell peppers, and slice the ribeye steak into thin strips.

Cooking Pasta

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the elbow macaroni. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, typically around 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Sautéing Vegetables

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the diced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the onions are translucent.

Cooking Steak

  • Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until the steak is browned. Season with salt and pepper.

Making Cheese Sauce

  • In a large pot over medium-low heat, combine the cream cheese, milk, and cheddar cheese. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Combining Pasta and Sauce

  • Add in the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until fully coated.

Adding Steak Mixture

  • Fold in the cooked steak and vegetable mixture into the cheesy pasta, mixing well.

Final Seasoning

  • Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if necessary. Optionally, add a touch of hot sauce.
