Ingredients
  

Base Mixture

  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • ½ cup vodka
  • 2 tbsp pickle juice from dill pickles
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 drops hot sauce or to taste
  • ¼ tsp celery salt

Garnish

  • dill pickle spears for garnish
  • lemon wedge and salt (for rim)

Instructions
 

  • Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of each shot glass, then dip rims in celery salt or coarse salt to coat.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine tomato juice, vodka, pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and celery salt.
  • Fill with ice and shake well for about 10 seconds until chilled.
  • Strain mixture evenly into shot glasses.
  • Garnish each shot with a mini pickle spear or olive and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra spice, use a splash of pickle brine from spicy dill pickles or add horseradish. You can also prepare a large batch in a pitcher for parties. Chill before serving for the best flavor.
